Don't think I had forgotten about my on-going list... (truth be told, I kinda had). BUT, not any more! Here comes the second item on that list: a big(ger) bag. PS. click on the images to get to the source.
Yes, it's the ever so talked about classic city bag by Balenciaga. I remember seeing it on the Olsen twins and daydreaming about having one (more like twenty if we're being honest) myself. Now, years later, I'm finding myself being drawn to it again. The design is simple but hits the spot. Those large stitches on the handles, the studs, the leather that only seems to get better with wear and tear. Yes, definitely hits the spot.
I've been thinking of getting myself a larger bag, my Céline trio is golden and I love it to pieces, but it doesn't fit a whole lot. Usually, I don't carry a whole lot of stuff with me but if I do, the trio is not ideal. As much as I love smaller bags (it's like the word "mini" is somehow the most appealing word in the world), and no matter how much I'd love to get my hand on the Céline nano luggage, I have to think a bit more practically.
Another bag that's been on my mind for a few years now, is the Céline horizontal cabas. Incredibly simple, luxurious and gorgeous leather, and very modern. One thing that's been bugging me lately, however, is the way you carry it - would it be uncomfortable to not have the cross-body option? Would it slide down the shoulder every five minutes? Would it be uncomfortably close to the armpit causing some slight anger issues? Many many questions... which makes me think that I may not be ready to splurge just yet. But if things are looking up (and my mind is made up) by the time that I go to Paris later this year... who knows. Maybe it'll be my treat yo self 2013 day.
Which one would you guys go for? Do you have any other bag tips?
